Hi, I am Mehbub Alam, Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering Department at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Raichur. I did my BE from Jorhat Engineering College under Dibrugarh University followed by MTech and PhD from IIT Guwahati. Prior to joining IIIT Guwahati, I have worked as a Lead Engineer in GlobalLogic Inc.from 2007 to 2009. I have also worked as a Scientific officer at IIT Guwahati from 2002 to 2007 Beyond academics and research, I am also active in consulting for Industry and Government.

Research Interests: Security in Cloud, SDN and NFV; Biometric Security; Security Issues in Internet of Things; Intrusion Detection/Prevention System
